2021 elections must go on!

LAND Party is opposed to the EFF’s call for the 2021 elections to be postponed. South Africa can no longer continue under the current government for a moment longer.

It is time for ordinary civilians to stand up and lead. Change must start at grassroots level. Smaller parties must mobilise their constituents. Civic organisations must support community leaders to stand for office, independently if needs be.

It is time for ordinary citizens to represent the people in local, provincial, and national governments. LAND Party is ready. The ANC thinks they’re ready, the DA is trying to regroup and the EFF wants to capitalize on a delay to consolidate.

2021 elections must proceed.

LAND Party calls on the collective of small parties who questioned the irregularities in the national elections last year and committed to working together to ensure that future elections were free and fair, to get to work and address these issues with IEC as a matter of urgency.

South Africa needs ordinary people who understand the plight of the poor and the destitute, who can see through the false promises of career politicians and government administrators, whose hearts are with the people, and who have unwavering integrity to step up to the plate and do what it takes to give their communities a real, recognised voice.
