The Land Party sends its condolences to the family of Desmond Emeritus Tutu. Tata Desmond Tutu was a giant in the struggle for justice and equality. What many failed to learn from him was his resistance against injustices and inequalities until he was unable to speak for himself. He refused to keep silent even from his sick bed.

He was a true hero and inspiration to the struggle for justice, equality and freedom. He was a voice of the voiceless and he was a symbol of truth. He spoke about apartheid injustices and spoke against the abuse of power by the ANC government. He was indeed a speaker and symbol of truth to justice, equality and freedom.
