The LAND Party of South Africa asks the people of South Africa to remove the ANC from government. The ANC is failing.
The failures of our ruling political elites are being exposed with the current case of former President Jacob Zuma and the Constitutional Court of South Africa. Now is the time for citizens to unite and demand the dissolution of the current government.
The LAND Party is concerned that the ANC government's failure to handle internal battles and discipline, is taxing the country and its people unfairly.
The LAND Party calls on the people to rise against the tyranny of the ANC government and its inept leaders, who fail to resolve issues within their Organisation. The poor people, the working class, and the unemployed youth of our country are neglected while the ANC struggles with their focus on organisational infighting.
The LAND Party is concerned with the possibility of a repeat of Marikana outside former President Jacob Zuma's home residence.
The LAND Party asks that the Constitutional Court changes the sentencing of former President Zuma to a suspended sentence or Community Service as the Party believes no one should be imprisoned unless they are dangerous, violent criminals. Particularly during this Pandemic.
The LAND Party is concerned about the independence of the judiciary system and the abuse of State Security Agencies: our Police, Intelligence, and Army. The LAND Party believes South Africa needs better transformed and independent Jusitice Systems, Intelligence Agencies, Police Services, and Armed Forces.
The LAND Party advocates for people-centered Law Enforcement, Judiciary, and Intelligence Agencies. The LAND Party is convinced that failure to transform our Justice Systems perpetuates sociopolitical inequalities. Until we are all equal before the law, we will remain the most unequal country.
The LAND party's biggest concern within the Justice Department lies with the NPA. The Party believes that the NPA is compromised and cannot discharge its mandate objectively.
The LAND Party proposes that the public must be given the opportunity to vote for Judges instead of the Presidential Appointment Process of Judges.
The LAND Party puts this rebellion of former President Zuma against the Constitutional Court, as driven by him appointing judges, including the Chief Justice, to serve as buffers against political battles he faces. The undermining of the Constitutional Court by the former President shows his disapproval of not being protected by his appointees.
This is why the LAND Party is speaking to a new system, where nominations and appointments of Judges happens through public voting: if a new judge is required, members of the public nominate candidates. Candidates with nominal support will be voted for by the public through a strict voting system with the adjudication panel for nominees made up of representatives of political parties.
This voting process must be facilitated by the administrators of the Constitutional Court and not the IEC. The IEC is not as independent as people think.
The LAND Party believes that President Cyril Ramaphosa is using State Machinery to fight his political battles. This must be condemned.
The LAND Party believes it is abnormal for a former President to be prosecuted to seek his imprisonment, while our government fails to prosecute and arrest Apartheid murderers such as Eugene de Kock and others.
The LAND Party wants our Justice Department to show the same zeal and energy in prosecuting Apartheid racists who killed our people during Apartheid. The LAND Party also wants the NPA to reopen the case of Marikana and charge President Cyril Ramaphosa for his concocted efforts that led to the killing of mineworkers from Marikana.
The LAND Party does not form part of any faction of the ruling ANC Party, but we are very concerned about the abuse of State Resources being employed to fight internal battles within the ANC while South Africans suffer in poverty.
