The LAND Party is not surprised by the decision of the ruling ANC to remove the praise singer from the program of the opening of SONA. The ruling party is reaffirming its anti-Black, anti-African agenda, and it has abandoned the cultural diversity of our country by embracing the Western European culture. The LAND Party wants the House of Traditional Leaders to take note of the sellout tendencies of the ruling ANC.
The LAND Party has been consistent that South Africans have been sold to the highest bidders, and we have a parliament that was designed by colonizers, and doesn't recognize the native culture and the beauty of the majority people of South Africa. The LAND Party asks all South Africans to unite to punish the sellouts who are now governing our country. The LAND Party wants the people of South Africa to know that the ruling political elite is not representing the interests of the people but that of their masters and themselves.
The LAND Party will write to the Speaker of parliament and ask her to reconsider her decision to deprive South Africans of their culture and their beauty. Praise singer is the only African symbol in our Eurocentric parliament and, therefore, denying the people of South Africa a praise singer during the opening of parliament is a despicable and unforgivable act.
