Councillor Assaulted

The thuggish behaviour displayed by Amathole District Municipality officials to councillor Nanziwe Rulashe must be condemned by all forward thinking South Africans. The manner councillor Nanziwe Rulashe was handled exposed criminal behaviour of ANC cadre deployment officials who disregard the rule of law and believe that they are above the law.

A public representative councillor Nanziwe Rulashe was sexually harrassed, assaulted and robbed her belongings by criminals who masqueraded as municipal security personnel. The sad part is the fact that this group of criminals was led by a woman, which reaffirms the position of the LAND that crime is pandemic in our country, it doesn't discriminate but affects everyone.

The LAND call the immediate suspension and subsequently expulsion of the municipality manager and all those who are involved in assaulting, sexually harassed and robbed councillor Nanziwe Rulashe while she was at her work place. The LAND sent its support to councillor Nanziwe Rulashe, strength to the councillor.
