Doctor Death's parole must be revoked.

The LAND Party calls the minister of Justice and Correctional services, Ronald Lamola, to revoke the parole of Eugene De Kock. Eugene De Kock has violated his parole conditions by participating in criminal activities while he was on parole. The Minister of Justice and Correctional services and the parole board must apply Section 10 — Sub section 1 and 2 of Paroles Act :

10. —(1) Where a parolee commits a breach of the conditions of his parole order, the Board may, after investigate-

ting the circumstances of such breach, revoke the

parole granted to such parolee.

(2) The Board may revoke the parole granted to a

parolee if the Board is of the opinion that such revocation

is in the interest of the parolee or in the public interest.

The LAND Party strongly believes that putting Eugene De Kock back in prison will be in line with the law and is in the best public interest as it is clear that he was taken out of jail because he was doing favors for former president Jacob Zuma. The LAND Party believes the release of Eugene De Kock was an insult to the families who have lost their loved ones under his brutality against the African people, particularly the Black people.

The LAND Party also argued that Eugene De Kock is much more dangerous than Janusz Walus, and therefore it should be Walus whose been released on parole rather than De Kock. The LAND Party finds no reasons given by former minister of Justice and Correctional services Masutha as to why Eugene De Kock was placed on parole after killing so many Black people and yet deny Walus who killed one person.

The LAND Party strongly believes that there's no logic in the decision to release De Kock and keep Walus incarcerated. Therefore the LAND Party asks the minister of Justice and Correctional Services to revoke Eugene De Kock's parole with immediate effect as the party believes that De Kock was used by the ruling party to eliminate political opponents in our country.
