Justice must be served before we can progress

The Land Party supports the move by the Economic Freedom Fighters on opening an inquest against former apartheid President FW De Klerk.

Apartheid was not just a crime against humanity but the genocide of the non-white people, particularly the African people.

Land Party, do not only support the inquest but also want all apartheid army and police generals be brought forward and answer for their crimes.

Land Party believe that there will be no reconciliation without punishing those who committed crimes against humanity. FW De Klerk's comment on SABC news that apartheid was not a crime against humanity, proves the fact that there will be no reconciliation without dealing with the injustices of the past.

We do not only support the inquest against those presided over apartheid crimes and get away with the crimes they committed. We also call for the former apartheid President FW De Klerk's Nobel Peace Prize be returned.
