LAND Party Appoints New Spokesperson

LAND Party is pleased to announce the appointment of Comrade Lumka Maqubela as the new spokesperson for the Land Party.

Comrade Maqubela lives in Gauteng and is one of the founding members of the LAND Party. She will be responsible for all calls coming from the media asking questions, seeking clarity, and understanding the policies, procedures, and the position of the Land Party.

This position comes with enormous responsibility and personal sacrifice and we would like to thank Comrade Maqubela for accepting the position. This, like all positions in the Land Party, is voluntary and there is no remuneration for the enormous amount of time and dedication required.

LAND Party belongs to the people. It is a vehicle that gives all poor and working-class people a political home and a political voice. Comrade Maqubela is fully aware of the responsibility she has as the official representative of the people. In accepting this position, she has committed herself to guard the integrity of the Land Party and the people it represents.

Leadership understands that the pressure that comes with being the spokesperson of the Land Party is great, but we believe that Comrade Lumka Maqubela has the strength and tenacity to withstand it. The Chief Leader, leadership, and all members of the organisation support her in this position.
