Land Party is disappointed by the State of the Nation address delivered by President Cyril Ramaphosa in the sixth parliament. The Land Party raised its concern about the governing party and their lack of tangible strategy and programs to deliver to the people of South Africa.
We invite President Ramaphosa to visit the Land Party website and read a very clear and detailed plan on how to rescue South Africa from the current financial crisis: http://www.landpartysa.co.za/manifesto. The Land Party also advises President Ramaphosa to abandon the NDP as it has failed to assist the nation from global economic crisis. NDP is just a vision, not a plan, and we therefore ask President Cyril Ramaphosa to look at the Land Party’s manifesto as it provides a detailed plan to build South Africa's economy and make South Africa a powerful global economic leader.
Land Party welcomes the announcement of prioritizing local products and encourages South Africans to sell and buy local. Land Party asks government to grant tax relief from local business and remove VAT from local manufactured goods and products to encourage locals to buy more proudly South African products. Land Party also asks the President to introduce voluntary tax for small businesses and subsidize small scale farmers. On employment, the Land Party asks the President to penalize all companies that hire more foreign nationals than locals by revoking their operating licenses.
Thank You
