Land Party calls For the Removal of The Current Public Protector

The Land Party feels strongly that the office of the Public Protector, Advocate Busisiwe Mkwebane is highly politicized and is harming the country and destabilizing the economy of the country further.

We believe that the Public Protector is no longer serving the interests of the country and those of the people but rather the interests of a particular ANC faction and connected corrupt political elites. This office has degenerated and totally lost its dignity and independence as it has become highly polarized by politics.

We take note of the current developments from the office of the Public Protector and ask parliament to deal with this matter urgently and we also call for a criminal investigation into the Public Protector for sabotage and treason.

We believe that she is being used to plot a coup against the current elected democratic government and she's working day and night to overthrow the current administration. We also believe that the public protector is unable to control her temperament and anxiety. She cannot work under severe pressure and therefore she is not fit to hold a demanding office like that of the Public Protector.
