LAND Party calls on government to assist businesses NOW

Businesses are already starting to suffer the economic consequences of the COVID-19 Virus and the LAND party calls on government to place a moratorium on the payment of taxes (PAYE, VAT etc.), rent, water, gas and electricity for companies so that businesses can continue to pay their staff and stay afloat during this time.

Businesses are urged to reduce to a skeleton staff and make use of the Labour Laws Amendment Act of 2018 whereby workers can claim UIF benefits when they lose income as a result of reduced working times.
