LAND Party condemns shootings of civilians in Nigeria

The LAND Party condemn the shooting of civilians by the Nigerian Army during the peaceful protest held in Lagos. The Nigerian citizens were protesting against a police unit that victimizes the youth, robs them of their belongings, and extorts money.

The government in Nigeria decided to impose Lockdown as a strategy to clamp down on peaceful protestors and the government violently used the military against its citizens. The LAND Party condemns this kind of government. A government must not oppress and kill its citizens but uplift and better their lives.
