Land Party Demands IEC Workers’ Issues Be Resolved Before Election Day

In the interests of free and fair elections, the Land Party demands that the issues of the IEC employees who are threatening to strike be met before the end of special voting on 7 May.

It is unacceptable that these workers have been fighting with the IEC for three years without results. They must be paid accordingly and provided with the tools necessary to carry out their jobs effectively.

We stand with NEHAWU in requesting urgent intervention from the IEC to resolve this long-standing dispute once and for all.
