In their failure to respond to their notice of suspension with reasons negating their removal from the Party, the National Coordinator, Maxwell Mothlake; Politburo member, Tonic Manchidi; Head of Communication, Buntu Gwija, and ordinary members Masibulele Zitha and Nondumiso Zwane have been officially expelled from the Land Party.

The Chief Leader of the Party, in consultation with the Land Party Politburo members, took the decision to terminate the probationary membership of these transgressors with immediate effect on this day, 22 May 2019 in terms of Article 7 of the LAND Party Constitution:

In the event that a probationary member has failed to perform his or her obligations or to meet the criteria for full membership, his or her probationary membership shall be revoked.

In light of the full and final termination of their membership:

1. They are not permitted to represent LAND Party at any level of engagement.

2. They are prohibited from using the LAND Party name, logo and brand on any platform or in any communications. This includes the prohibition of posting on social media, speaking to print, radio or television media and wearing LAND Party regalia.

3. They are prohibited from conducting any business on behalf of LAND Party or performing any functions/duties linked with the execution of their previous duties as members of the LAND Party.

5. They are instructed to hand in all material, assets and property in t possession that belongs to the LAND Party.

6. They are not permitted to share any confidential or organisational information related to the LAND Party.

Should they disregard the expulsion and orders above we will have no option but to approach the High Court for an appropriate order at their cost.
