LAND Party maintains government is still not stringent enough.

The government strategy is weak and many more people will get infected by the CoronaVirus if they continue to be lenient. Land Party maintain its position:

1. Keep workers away from work while receiving full salary and let them do work at home.

2. Government place moratorium on the payment of taxes (PAYE, VAT etc), rent, water, gas and electricity for companies.

3. Pubs, Clubs and Restaurants close while selling take-aways.

4. Close schools, Tertiary institutions until June.

5. Release non-violent prisoners.

6. Strictly ban all religious or any form of gatherings.

7. Clinics must be closed and government introduce mobile clinics. Also, delivery of all chronic medication to the patients.

8. Retail stores must deliver food and household items to avoid large number of consumers in the shops.

9. Give free sanitizers to the previous disadvantage communities and poor households.

10. No staff may be fired until CCMA is equipped with staff and technology to hold virtual hearings. They can be suspended with full pay until a hearing can take place.

11. Local municipalities must provide a safe place that is equipped with technology to facilitate virtual hearings/press.

12. The website https://www.breakyourownnews.com/ must be shut down with immediate effect.

13. District-level data must be provided with immediate effect.

14. Businesses must stop "letting people go" and do the admin to utilise the relief packages the government has put in place.

15. Local municipalities must utilise technology and radio to implement public participation processes in day-to-day business. They cannot simply ban the public due to the Corona Virus.

16. There must be a moratorium on the passing of any by-laws, sale of state property, implementation of any strategic plans and any other day-to-day government business that requires public participation.
