Land Party’s Views on the Battle Between BLF and FF+

The Land Party supports the BLF in its fight against the FF+ after their bid to have BLF deregistered from the upcoming elections because of its exclusion based on race.

While the Land Party is not a nationalist party, and we embrace all races, creeds and cultures in our membership, we do not condemn other political parties that take a stand to redress the injustices of the apartheid regime where black people were excluded from casting a democratic vote in South Africa.

The white dominated FF+ comprises the stale dregs left over from the apartheid years, clinging desperately to white supremacy and capitalist imperialism. Their effort to push their policy of “self determination” is a clear indication of their support for an apartheid state in South Africa again, yet they still have the audacity to question BLF’s black only membership policy? A case of the pot calling the kettle black, we think.

We don’t believe that either party has any real prospects in this election, however, the BLF should be given the opportunity to contest elections and the right to only accept black members.
