Land Party stand with the people of KZN

The Land Party wholeheartedly supports the people of KwaZulu Natal in standing together and demanding the release of former President Jacob Zuma. The Land Party instructed its members to join the people of KZN in the picket lines, to demand the release of former President Jacob Zuma.
The Land Party will always choose the side of the oppressed and the party believes that the sentencing of former President Zuma is punitive and undermines peace, stability, justice, equality and the rule of law. The Land Party leadership has taken the decision to pledge solidarity and support to the people of KZN.
The Land Party has warned South Africans that in continuing to vote for the ANC, our public and private sectors, our entire country will continue to suffer under the absence of leadership within the ruling party. The Land Party, while joining the people of KZN, also cautions the people of KZN not to vote for the ANC again.
The Land Party also called on its members in all Provinces to organize peaceful protests in accordance with Covid regulations, to demonstrate their dissatisfaction for this repressive style of governance and for the violation of former President Jacob Zuma's right to remain silent, in the Constitutional Court. Former President Zuma is being punished for exercising his right to remain silent in being sentenced to fifteen months in prison.
The Land Party challenges President Cyril Ramaphosa to show leadership, and intervene for the release of former President Jacob Zuma from incarceration. The Land Party wants President Ramaphosa to take the citizenry into his confidence, to bring stability and peace in the province of KZN by pardoning former President Jacob Zuma.
The Land Party strongly believes that any prosecution must be in the interest of justice, peace, stability and the rule of law, but former President Jacob Zuma's arrest has proven otherwise. The Land Party calls on all South Africans to demand justice, equality before the law, and the release of former President Jacob Zuma.
