The LAND Party is standing with the Brown people of Cape Flats who are landless because of the DA Israel strategy to build expensive houses or private Estate houses on each and every available piece of land in the Western Cape.
The Western Cape government is using the same strategy Israel is using against the Palestinian people but using it to the non-white people of the Western Cape.
The LAND Party view this as a strategy to keep the Colored people and the Black people landless and frustrate them to move out of their native land. This is the same strategy by Israel to build human settlements in the land of the Palestinian people.
The LAND Party is also concerned by the white supremacist sponsored Gatvol movement. The LAND Party is aware that it is racist white supremacists who are now using colored people against black people in the Western Cape.
The LAND Party is aware that historically the colored people have been used by whites to fight white people’s interests. During the Frontier wars it was white people who used the Xhoisan, also known as the Khoisan people, to win over Xhosa people.
The LAND Party asks the Gatvol to stop using our people against one another. LAND Party ask Gatvol to stop Anti-Black rhetorics and racism. We understand the struggle for identity because of the genetic links to both white people and black people, however, you are non-whites, you are marginalised, it is time to stop being used by racist white supremacists to fight Black people in the Western Cape because their fight against Black people is futile and will bear no fruit.
The LAND Party is open to engage with the organizers of Gatvol and give them better strategies to achieve our common goal to fight for our land. The LAND Party has vast experience in the land struggle and championing social justice. But the LAND Party is only willing to work with Gatvol if they are going to drop their Anti-Black rhetoric and will genuinely fight for the interests of the people and not for the interests of individuals who are looking to be co-opted by either ANC or the DA.
