Land Party lost one of its founding fathers, Comrade Mteteleli Kasa, the most humble, eloquent, and cool minded Lander. Comrade Mteteleli Kasa was very passionate about the working-class struggle and fighting for the most destitute poor people of our country.

The LAND Party suffered a great loss in this difficult time while its leaders, particularly the Chief Leader, is facing assassination from the far right-wing white supremacists using some of taxi owners, Abalone poachers, and gang leaders in the Western Cape.

Lander Kasa was establishing LAND Party structures in the Eastern Cape and his vision for Umhlontlo Municipality in the next coming elections was to stop the looting and the corruption of the ANC in that municipality and put forward the youth in the municipality.

We have lost a good leader, a disciplined leader who was very close to the Chief Leader. Once upon a time he once sent a shocking message to the Chief Leader of the Land Party and his message read “Ndinga Mane ndiluze ubomi bam. I will defend you leader.” Lander Kasa never shy to show his fondness to the leadership of the Land Party.

He loved the people of uQumbu in the Eastern Cape and shared the same love to the working class in Gauteng. He loved his family and his sisters unconditionally. He was resolute in fighting for the Land of our ancestors and he was exemplary to many Landers because he lived with the Party’s constitution in his heart.

To him, all it matters was to put forward the poor people's interests above his own personal interests. This is a great loss to the people of Umhlontlo, his family, friends, and Landers. This is a big blow to the future of our country. We have lost a valuable slave of the destitute poor people and the marginalized.

May the revolutionary Land Gods grant him land in paradise as he died as a landless slave of his own people. To the family, your loss is our loss and we are very saddened that our leader and comrade Mteteleli Kasa was shot and killed while the enemy already put a price in the head of our Chief Leader.

It is very worrying that principled leaders must be killed while sellouts live freely in the land of honey and milk while millions of our people die in poverty and distress.

The LAND Party asks all its members to mourn the death of Lander Kasa until his last day. The party will also issue wallpapers for paying tribute to this leader.
