Marikana cannot be forgiven. NPA must prosecute!

LAND Party does not accept the position of AMCU and other political parties that the ANC must apologize for killing our people in Marikana. This is the same mistake that was done by our late hero former president Mandela and others to forgive those who killed our people without first dealing with the injustices of the past.

The LAND Party want the NPA to prosecute those who have blood on their hands. Accepting forgiveness from the murderers will be unjust for the families and those who lost their loved ones during the massacre.

We must put it in practice that we are all equal before the law. Being all equal before the law must not be just a political slogan but reality.

It can't be so easy to kill Black people. You cannot kill people and go and ask for forgiveness, it is absurd. We will be selling our heroes who died fighting for a living wage if this happens. This is unacceptable because it show no respect for their dignity.

We are crying with AMCU and with the widows and the families of Marikana martyrs.
