Land Party is saddened by the death of the Ama Rharhabe Queen Ah! Noloyiso Ah! Noloyiso Ah! Noloyiso Sandile, a sister to the Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini Ka Bhekizulu.
Her Majesty was a great loving person. Her Majesty loved her people and united the House of Phalo. This is a great loss to the Xhosa nation, the Khoi, the San, and the Zulu people. It is a great loss to the Great Palace of AmaRharhabe.
Throughout the history of conquest and dispossession, all historians, whether Europeans or Africans, will agree no nation engaged colonialists more than the Rharhabe kingdom. The Rharhabe Kingdom fought fiercely against the merciless British invaders for 100 years.
It is to the house of Phalo, particularly the Rharhabe Royal House, that the history of resistance to British colonial conquest. It is Her Majesty Queen Noloyiso Sandile who led the AmaRharhabe Royal Council to launch the biggest land claim that includes the whole of the Western Cape.
LAND Party asks all its members to mourn the departed soul of Her Majesty Queen Noloyiso Sandile.
