NEHAWU is being reckless and the Government, unfair.

Does NEHAWU think that by ‘categorising’ protesters they are going to prevent coronavirus from spreading? Pastors, Unionists, who’s next? It is quite simple, the more people come in contact with one another, the more likely the virus is likely to spread.
The Black Death swept across the world in the 14th Century and there weren’t even aeroplanes then. It killed hundreds of thousands of people, mainly after they’re attended a large gathering!
Calling for members of NEHAWU to put their lives at risk like this is irresponsible and shows reckless leadership.
The government must honour its agreement with NEHAWU so that protest is not necessary. The members of the National Education, Health and Allied Workers' Union (Nehawu) are the foot soldiers in this war and we need them, well paid, on the frontlines, not fighting a labour dispute.
LAND Party reminds all citizens that no organisation they belong to can deny them a membership for not attending a mass gathering like a religious ceremony or a protest.
