No consequences for white supremacists in South Africa

The LAND Party condemns the behavior of the white supremacists and far-right groups who attacked the police, stormed the court, stormed the holding cells, fired two shots, and overturned and burned a police vehicle.

The LAND Party once again challenges the ANC government to show that they are not the government of the white minorities but the government of all South Africans. The LAND Party takes note that under the ANC government, white people can commit very serious crimes and nothing will happen to them.

Today's action by the white supremacists is a direct attack on the judiciary and on law enforcement. The LAND Party is aware that today's violence was well planned and was done deliberately to test the strength of the so-called “ANC democratic government”.

The LAND Party wants all those criminals who participated in today's Senekal Magistrate's Court violent action to be arrested and criminally prosecuted. Such actions can not be tolerated and the Land Party believes today's action clearly proves that white privilege is real and white supremacy exists.

The LAND Party describes today's violence as an act of terrorism. AWB and Boeremag masquerading as farmers must be brought to justice. We want swift action and tougher action against all criminals who participated in today's violent act outside Senekal Magistrate's Court. The LAND Party also condemns in the strongest terms that these racists groups will force and threaten farm workers to participate in their racist actions.
