Onward and Upward for LAND

The LAND Party is ready to bring change and contest the following municipalities :

1. Cape Metro

2. Overstrand

3. Cape Agulhas

4. Theewaterskloof

5. Raymond Mhlaba

6. Abaqulusi

7. Emfuleni

8. EThekwini

The LAND Party will be contesting the above municipalities based on the commitment of people living in these municipalities. The LAND is strategically fielding its candidates to the above-mentioned municipalities because we had to measure our strength based on our membership database and how the organization has been managed to grow in those areas.

The LAND was established in 2019 and contested 2019 national elections within 3 months of existence, the party has been growing positively since its formation and the party has won a December 2020 by-election from the ANC stronghold in the Western Cape, Zwelihle, Overstrand Municipality. The LAND Party has to use its membership map and database to contest the upcoming local government elections.

We had to use the following criteria : Hard work Commitment Dedication Membership number and Membership performance.

The LAND does not impose itself to the people, the people must show their need and hunger for the party. The LAND only works with communities that are tired of the current status quo. The LAND only works for the communities who want real change. The LAND also has focused on building new cadres not recycled politicians or disgruntled individuals from other parties.

The LAND only targets principled citizens, who are anti-corrupt political systems. The LAND also has to prevent political parasites who are joining new parties in every election for their selfish reasons. The LAND has established its branches in Buffalo City Municipality, Tshwane, Johannesburg, eKhuruleni, Nelson Mandela Bay, Cacadu, King Sabatha Dalindyebo, Umlazi and Umhlathuzi. The LAND decided not to contest in those municipalities but instead the party focused in the coming months to build a very strong Land Party for the next local government elections.

The LAND does not use elections as part of gambling, we contest every ward with the guarantee to win the ward. The LAND is in the building stages and therefore the leadership wants to build a solid foundation for the LAND to grow itself organic. The LAND Party will also introduce a new culture in South African politics, by using other methods to campaign and emerge victorious in the upcoming local government elections. The LAND believes that we need to change the old tradition of politics and introduce new strategies to change the current status quo.
