Professor Lwazi Lushaba is right!

The Land Party defends Professor Lwazi Lushaba from the University of Cape Town. Professor Lushaba in his peer review lecture to first-year students, explicitly stated that the heinous crimes against humanity suffered by Black people were swept under the carpet while crimes against whites, particularly the Jews in Germany by Hitler, were exposed.

Hiding any type of crime against humanity is an act of injustice. The reaction by the South African Jewish Board of Deputies and the Democratic Alliance reaffirm the point that was raised by Professor Lushaba that “It was okay to kill Black people but not okay to kill white people”. This injustice still happens as shown by the absolute disregard for the extinction of Palestinian people.

The Land Party asks the South African Jewish Board of Deputies to stop suppressing free speech and stop being selective in the injustices they stand up for. The SAJBD kept quiet when 35 miners were killed in Marikana, the same SAJBD never spoke against the crimes against humanity caused by Israel on the people of Palestine. The SAJBD did not speak out about the multiple murders of non-white children on the Cape Flats, or on the two black job seekers who were shot by a farmer, or constant bleating about a fake genocide by white Afrikaaner nationalists. The Land Party views the SAJBD as a racist body and no different from Afriforum who also only speak out against injustices when it is done to white people but not to Black people.

The Land Party asks all South Africans to stand against injustices and support Professor Lushaba. The Land Party wants to remind SABJD that King Leopold of Belgium killed more than 10 million Black men, women, and children in the Congo and there has been no compensation to the Black people of the Congo. The truth must be told that the biggest holocaust in the history of humankind happened to Black people not the Jewish people, but to date, that history has been swept under the carpet.

The Land Party believes that we need more academics like Professor Lwazi Lushaba, academics who can open the mind of the future generation. Democratic Alliance does not have the moral authority to speak against injustices as their province, the Western Cape, is full of concentration camps. Poor people in the Western Cape live like pigs without water, food, and electricity.

The Land Party is among those who are committed to defending Professor Lwazi Lushaba by providing legal assistance and moral support. The Land Party encourages Professor Lushaba to continue exposing white crimes against non-white people. The Land Party believes that Professor Lushaba provides decolonized education, and therefore, it is the responsibility of the poor people and the working class to protect Professor Lushaba.
