Racism is an epidemic in South Africa thanks to the ANC

The LAND Party is not surprised by the stereotypes displayed by one of South Africa's biggest corporate cosmetic companies, Clicks, that native citizens' hair is “Frizzy and Dull” because South Africa's business sector is a home for racists.

All racists in South Africa are dominating the private sector and the big corporate markets. Until the private sector in South Africa comply with the equity plan and are fully transformed, we will continue seeing this kind of racist bigotry in South Africa's biggest corporates because they believe that they are untouchable.

The LAND Party believe this again exposes the failure of the ANC to govern. It is for this reason that the private sector is operating like it is outside South Africa and doing as it wishes because there's no accountability, and no oversight mechanism to monitor the private sector.

The department of labor has not only failed, but is enjoying bribes and gifts from the private sector and that is the reason they cannot act against these racist companies. LAND Party asks the government to establish an oversight body that will specifically deal with big corporate businesses to ensure that they comply with the equity policies that are in place.

The committee must ensure that there is a transformation and the equity plan is fully implemented. Those who fail to transform and be a part of the new South Africa must be closed down and not allowed to operate in our country.

The LAND Party asks Clicks to transform its management in all departments. The party also asks the company to lay criminal charges against those who are responsible for promoting racism in the company, and expose them to the public. The company must not think that a 3-line apology is enough when they have insulted native citizens, promoted racism, and are sowing divisions in an already divided nation.

The LAND Party wants to reaffirm its position that as long the ANC still enjoys a majority, the poor people, the working class, and the native people will continue to suffer with this kind of white supremacy and racism. The native people will continue to be treated as subhumans and business in South Africa will continue undermining the majority of its citizens.

The LAND Party does not blame Clicks but rather the ANC government who have lost touch with reality because they are too preoccupied with receiving gifts and bribes from businesses in South Africa. ANC is the gatekeeper for white racist corporate business. It is the vanguard of the monopoly Capitalists, and right-wing elements. Therefore the LAND Party calls all South Africans to boycott the ANC and start to view it as an enemy of the poor and a darling of the monopoly Capitalists. The people of South Africa must vote against the ANC and its corrupt leaders to change, to end racism, and to rid South Africa of any trace of white supremacy.
