Remove the Rot in SAPS

The LAND Party calls for a Commission of inquiry regarding the crisis in the South African Police Services. There is a very serious crisis within the South African Police Services, and it is the root cause of the ridiculously high crime rate in our country, and the poor police response to crime because of the instability within the department.

The LAND is certain that those who are uncovering the criminal syndicate within the South African Police Services are being purged and sidelined. The sad part is that these committed Police officers are colored, which makes the fight within the South African Police Services appear to be racism within the South African Police Services.

The LAND asks the president of the Republic, Cyril Ramaphosa, to quickly establish a commission of inquiry to deal with this crisis within the South African Police Services once and for all. The LAND also believes that former apartheid agents within the South African Police Services are on a mission to sabotage our primary crime-fighting institution.

The LAND asks for the immediate reinstatement of General Vearey and others who are being purged by the National Police Commissioner for doing their job and rooting out crime in the Western Cape. The LAND further calls for the immediate expulsion of the National Police Commissioner, Khehla Sithole, and for the removal of the Police Minister Bheki Cele for causing instability within the South African Police Services.
