The Land Party asks the minister of education to close the Somerset West Private School where students were photographed using the Nazi salute. This is offensive to say the least, it is a symbol of evil and is a terrible reminder of the killings of many, many innocent people.

The world is facing by the rise of Fascism and far right white supremacist hegemony. This kind of behavior and culture is still contributing to the mindset that has lies at the heart of the hundreds of killings in America because of white supremacists, Fascism and racism.

LAND believe that the image displayed on the school website was not a mistake but exactly what the school has taught the pupils. Land Party is certain that the school teaches pupils hatred against other people, racism, Fascism and is against social cohesion.

We call on the minister of education to close down the school and or transform the school into a public school, so that the school can be accessible to other races and the government can monitor its behavior.

The Land Party calls for mass mobilization against the school until the government intervenes. All forward thinking South Africans must stand up and say no to white supremacy and fascist tendencies.

Land Party will be approaching the equality court regarding this matter. This is an assault to our democracy and to our country.
