The Land Party want to take this opportunity and send a message to the Russian people who fully liberated the European people from Nazi tyranny. If it was not for the Soviet Union Nazi Germany would have tormented citizens across the globe and colonized every part of it. It was the Russian young men and women who voluntarily took a stand 76 years ago and defended humanity against Nazi Germany's aggression and tyranny.

The Land Party salute the Russian patriots who stood, against all odds, and took a patriotic decision to protect humankind from the terror of the Nazis. The Land Party want to assure the Russian people that the LAND Party in South Africa is celebrating this day with the Russian people. The Land Party regard the Russian people as their allies against world aggressions towards humanity.

The Land Party will strengthen its relations with the Russian people by making sure that the history of World War II is not distorted by those who forget what happened today. Today Russia commemorates the 76th anniversary of its victory in the Second World War with nationwide military parades including one at Moscow's Red Square. The Land Party is confident that the world is in a safer place today as there is no one who will be able to emulate the Nazis attack on humanity with the mighty Russia well-positioned and well-equipped to defend humanity against any form of aggression.
