Vote AGAINST the Land Expropriation Bill

The deadline for submitting your input to the Land Expropriation Bill is midnight on Sunday 28th February 2021. LAND Party urges all South Africans to vote against this bill which is an attempt to silence the real expropriation of land.

The only answer to the Land question is a people’s referendum as outlined in the LAND Party constitution:

“The Party must respect labour, knowledge, talent, creativity and ensure that development is for the people, in order to achieve the two founding principal goals, which are to:

· Capture the total STATE POWER and,

· LAND expropriation without compensation.

This will be achieved through a referendum of all citizens of South Africa participating to realize the South African Dream of national renewal. South Africa is currently in a stage of collapse and with the current status quo we are heading for disaster because of capitalism, liberalism, inept leadership and poor leaders within the ruling political elite.

Only through reform and opening up can we develop South Africa, develop socialism, and develop Marxism. The LAND PARTY must comprehensively deepen reform, improve and develop the system of socialism with South African characteristics, and modernize South Africa’s system and capacity for governance.”

In the LAND Party’s Policy Guidelines for 2021 we clearly state:

"LAND

Land expropriation without compensation through people's referendum. The LAND Party does not support the current Land Expropriation Bill as it is not a pragmatic solution to the Land question. The referendum question is 'Do you, as a law-abiding citizen of South Africa, support land expropriation without compensation? Vote Yes or No'."

The ruling party is yet again revealing how out of touch they are with the people of South Africa by using online forms to garner public sentiment. How are the majority of citizens even expected to participate? They have no food, no home, no basic services, but are expected to have access to devices and data to have their say.

This bill is a scam.

LAND Party urges President Cyril Ramaphosa to stop wasting money on this expropriation bill and expedite a referendum to deal with the Land issue once and for all. The people have already been waiting far too long.
