The Land Party appeals to the African youth to be inspired by Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe, to sacrifice entertainment, alcohol, drugs, and a luxurious lifestyle, and emulate Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe as their role model. Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe never pursued anything for personal gain or privilege, unlike many people who are prepared to kill his dream for personal benefits and material gain to maintain their lavish lifestyles. Today those who claim to represent his dream and wishes are going in and out in the court of law demanding legitimate status within his party. They have failed you and put their interests above what you have died for.
The Land Party is the only party that will fight for the realization of Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe's dream. A dream for non-racialism, land redistribution, and the recognition of African people as aboriginal citizens of our native land. To the members of the Land Party, Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe is not a credential or to be used for grandstanding, he is a guiding compass in our struggle for the return of our land to the rightful owners.
43 years ago the enemy thought your ideas would perish and your legacy would be forgotten, but here we are, 43 years since your death and your spirit and ideas live on. The Land Party will honor your legacy through its actions and by respecting your ideas. The Land Party regard Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe as a revolutionary leader who never stole from his people and never caused them harm. It is sad that leaders with dodgy characters, who are selfish and put their selfish interests above the interests of the people claim to be with you.
Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe died poor but rich in selflessness and love for his people, particularly the African natives and the oppressed. Robert Sobukwe was a beacon of hope to the marginalized African people.
